Counting it all joy in life's hardest trials is something we have to do daily. The Bible tells us that we should be joyful no matter what, but it's not always easy. Sometimes things happen to us that we don't even think about being able to handle with a good attitude. If you're reading this post then chances are you've had times in your own life where it seemed impossible for anything positive to come out of such trials because they were just too big for anyone else to understand how bad they really were, but let me tell you that there are powerful ways how to count it all joy in life's hardest trials.

Find your anchor

It's important to find your anchor—a person, place or thing that can bring you peace and comfort in times of trouble. Your anchor might be a friend, family member, pet or something else entirely. It doesn't matter what it is; what does matter is that it helps you get through the hard times.
But never forget, that the best anchor that you can have in your life is Jesus. He controls everything, the author of life, He knows your future and the greater things to happen to your life are on His plans- so trust Him and start a strong relationship with Him.

Practice Gratitude

When we practice gratitude, we focus on the positive aspects of our lives. We can look at what is going right and give thanks for it. The more we do this, the more there will be to be grateful for.
Gratitude helps us to see the good in life instead of focusing on what is bad or difficult. Gratitude helps us feel connected to others because they are experiencing joys similar to ours or they have overcome struggles similar to ours and may have advice on how best to handle them. It helps us see the beautiful world around us rather than focusing on all that is wrong with it.

Seek Joy from within

  • Learn to find joy in the little things.
  • Look for joy in nature.
  • Find joy in the people you love.
  • Find joy in a hobby you enjoy, or perhaps even something as simple as doing your daily chores and responsibilities with love and gratitude.

Learn to laugh at yourself

You don't have to take yourself so seriously, and you certainly don’t need other people taking you too seriously either. As a matter of fact, it's good for everyone when we all take our own foibles less seriously. A good sense of humor helps us see the lighter side of life and reminds us that we're just human—which is as it should be! If we can laugh at ourselves without being self-depreciating or mean spirited, then we'll be able to see things from others' perspectives more easily too.

Let go of the past

  • Let go of the things that don’t matter.
  • Let go of the people who don’t matter.
  • Let go of the things that you can't change.
  • Do not be afraid to let go of anything in your life that is weighing you down and bringing you down as a person!

Cultivate a community of friends

As you build a community of friends, and the foundation for your life with Christ grows stronger, you will find that your faith can withstand even the most difficult trials. It is important to have a community of friends who not only share your beliefs but also are facing similar challenges in their lives. This will allow you to support each other in your struggles and offer encouragement along the way. You may be able to find such a group through church or social media; however, even if there isn't an organized group available near where you live, community still exists! One way to cultivate it is by participating in online forums and blogs dedicated to Christianity. Those who are dedicated Christians tend to share their experiences so others who face similar trials might be able communicate with them as well as learn from their experiences.

Know when it's time for help

It's okay to ask for help. We all have those moments when we've got so much going on in our lives that we don't know how to make it all work together, and we feel like we need someone else's perspective. Whether it's a friend, family member, or professional counselor—don't let pride keep you from asking for advice when you need it.

Takeaway:

Takeaway: Life can be hard, but it's never so hard that all joy is impossible. Your soul will break in ways you never imagined, and you'll find yourself wishing that death were an option. But even then, God is with you and he makes all things new.
In the face of pain and suffering, let's not take our eyes off of what matters most: that God is good and he has a plan for us. For when we focus on him—his promises and presence—we're able to see past what may seem like our darkest days into the light of eternity with Christ.

We hope this blog post has given you some practical tips to help you navigate the hard times in life. We know that they don’t come easy, but with these tools and a little bit of time, we believe anyone can be ready when life throws its worst at them. So go ahead—take back your joy!
