If you’re looking to improve your life and start achieving more, it’s important to surround yourself with the right people. The people who are going to support you and help you grow are often the ones who have been there along the way. So if someone doesn’t want you to succeed or is being negative towards your goals, it might be time for them to go. Here's why:

You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.

  • You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.
  • You can’t change other people, but you can change your time with them.
  • Do you want to be successful? Then surround yourself with successful people.

People will believe in you if you believe in yourself.

People will believe in you if you believe in yourself.

There’s no one to blame but yourself if you don’t achieve your goals, so make sure that you are fully committed and dedicated to achieving them.

You can have a great group of friends, but only allow those who are positive and supportive to be among your inner circle.

You can have a great group of friends, but only allow those who are positive and supportive to be among your inner circle. As much as you love hanging out with your homies, they might not be the best people to help you achieve your goals. You’re going to want to find other like-minded individuals who support your passions and dreams.

People will often try to bring you down. Be careful not to let them pull you away from your goals.

I have a friend who is an entrepreneur. He is a hard worker and has a lot of ambition, but sometimes I see him get pulled down by the people around him. He spends time with people who are negative and try to bring him down, or think that nothing good can happen for him. These friends will be jealous of his success, or just don't want him to succeed because it makes them look bad in comparison.

I've seen this happen with other entrepreneurs, too—they hang around negative people who only want to complain about how they’re "not successful enough" yet and how they wish things were different (but never take any action). It's easy for these types of people to drag you back down into your old habits if you're not careful!

You must be careful not let others pull you away from your goals! Remember: if someone tries making excuses for why they haven't reached their goals yet (or if they just make excuses altogether), then that person isn't worth spending time with anyway! Avoid them as much as possible; otherwise their negativity can seep into your life too easily…

Joyful people embrace positive change, so when you’re willing and able to make changes for the better, expect the same from others.

It’s not helpful to hang around people who don’t want you to win.

If you’re willing and able to make changes for the better, expect the same from others.

If not, move on and surround yourself with positive people who are supportive of your goals and ambitions—not those who are negative or even just apathetic about how you choose to live your life.

At the end of the day, these are the people who really matter.

At the end of the day, these are the people who really matter. They’re the ones who want to see you succeed and will celebrate with you when you do. And they are also there for you in those tough times, offering a shoulder to cry on or a piece of advice when needed.

So if your best friend or partner isn’t one of those people and doesn’t want to be part of this journey with you, then why would you let them stay?

The best thing to do if these people want to continue being negative is avoid them as much as possible.

If there are people in your life who aren’t supportive of your goals, and they won’t be happy when you achieve them, you need to find a way to avoid them.

You can do this by:

  • Finding someone else to hang out with who is more like-minded and supportive.
  • Avoiding the people who don’t want you to win because they just don't care.
  • Reminding yourself that it's ok not everyone is going to like everything about us or our goals and ambitions.

Some of your friends might leave, but know that there is nothing wrong with that!

The thing is, you can't control whether your friends are supportive of your goals or not. Some people will be excited for you, and some won't. It's not worth changing yourself to impress everyone—it's better to focus on the people who want you to succeed, even if it means letting go of others. When in doubt, remember that there are plenty of other fish in the sea.

Remember: You don't need everyone's approval! In fact, sometimes it pays off to stop hanging around people who don't want you to win or achieve your goals. You can always make new friends later on down the road!

Focus on loving and appreciating yourself more every day.

How do you know if someone is a good influence? Here are some signs:

  • They encourage you to pursue your dreams, even when they seem impossible.
  • They don't just tell you what's wrong with your plans or goals; they also give helpful advice on how to fix those problems.
  • They can be trusted with confidential information—and not just because they will keep it confidential (though that's important!), but also because they understand why it's important for other people's privacy and dignity to have their business stay between them and the person who has shared it.
  • When it comes down to making decisions about where to go out for dinner or how much money to spend on clothes, these friends always make sure everyone involved has input into the decision-making process so no one feels left out.

Don't let negative people hold you back

The more you hang around negative people, the more they’ll drag you down and hold you back.

If someone is bringing you down, don’t let them steal your joy.

If someone is dragging you down, don’t let them take away your confidence.

If someone makes fun of the way that you look or dresses, don’t let them make you feel bad about yourself!

This is a great lesson to remember. The best way to avoid negative people is to make sure you surround yourself with positive energy and positive people. After all, we don’t want you to be sad about losing friends!
